MAR-WOOD, INC. is an owner operated company whose officers have over 80 years of experience in this field and product line.

MAR-WOOD, INC. is the Western manufacturing facility of Marolf products. Marolf, Inc. has been in business since 1922 and began manufacturing precast concrete treatment plants and lift stations in 1955. There are over 4,500 installations in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Africa, Jamaica, Venezuela and the Bahamas. Our treatment plants have been certified by the National Sanitation Foundation and have proven excellence - some award winning - in extended aeration, contact stabilization, tertiary treatment and advanced waste treatment.
MAR-WOOD, INC. has been in the Phoenix, Arizona area since it’s inception on May 1, 1988 and at it’s current location since 1991.
The MAR-WOOD, INC. Product line can be summarized as follows:
STRESS KEY-10: 5,000 PSI precast concrete wall panels providing a liquid depth of 9'-6". Flexibility of design allows chambers to be custom designed to meet various regulatory and special requirements. Extensive use of aluminum for handrails, weirs, etc. provides for a corrosion-free system requiring minimum maintenance.
STRESS KEY-13: Similar to Stress Key-10 construction, but with 13' 6" wall height providing for 12' 0" liquid depth.
STRESS KEY-16: Similar to Stress Key-13 construction, but with 16’-6” wall height providing for 15’-0” side water depth.
RIB-WALL: 5,000 gallon precast concrete tanks installed in a series for sewage treatment plants from 5,000 GPD and up. This system normally requires no base slab and can be relocated to another site when a municipal sewer system becomes available.
LIFT STATIONS: MAR-WOOD, INC. offers a complete line of precast concrete lift stations utilizing submersible, self-priming, horizontal or vertical centrifugal pumps.
MAR-WOOD, INC. assumes complete responsibility for the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of the treatment plant. Our responsibility begins where the influent line enters the plant and ends where the effluent line exits the plant. We provide all drawings and specifications related to the treatment plant. Plant layout, process and equipment can be customized to suit the needs of the project site or as required by the owner, engineer or plant operator.
MAR-WOOD, INC. plants are “developer friendly” in-as-much as they can be designed to start out small and grow as the development grows without loss of the original investment.
MAR-WOOD, INC. plants are “operator friendly” in-as-much as they are built from non-proprietary mechanical equipment and controls. Replacement parts and service can usually be obtained locally avoiding long term deliveries or out-of-town technicians.
Each project is carefully assessed and a treatment plant tailored to the specific needs of that project. The basic design and method of construction has been used thousands of times which provides a high-quality treatment facility at a much lower cost than custom-designed systems.
MAR-WOOD, INC. Wastewater Treatment Plants may be installed above or below grade, enclosed in a building or covered with solid hatch covers so that minimum setbacks from property lines may be maintained.
